The race is open to monohulls and multihulls over 27 feet (8.22 meters) in length, and will cover a demanding ocean course: starting near Plymouth Bay, crossing the English Channel, passing the island of Ouessant on the port side at 124 nautical miles, and the Chaussée de Sein 24 nautical miles south of Ouessant, until reaching the finish line in the waters off Donostia/San Sebastián.
The estimated duration of the crossing ranges from 5 to 7 days, depending on weather conditions and the characteristics of the boats. The fleet is expected to arrive in San Sebastián between July 22 and 24, with events and celebrations scheduled through July 25, 2026.
