San Sebastián is a city designed on a human scale and the best way to get around is to park your car and go on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. The city has more than 6000 parking spaces.
Low-Emissions Zone (ZBE)
Donostia has a ZBE that only allows vehicles that comply with the specified environmental requirements into the centre. Nevertheless, you can park very close to the centre.

Recovering vehicles from the municipal pound
The municipal towtruck can impound vehicles for improper parking. In general, you can go directly to the pound and recover your vehicle immediately, after paying the corresponding fee. If you can’t find your car, contact the municipal pound:
