The city of San Sebastian has an area with the Low-Emission Zone (ZFE) or Isuri Gutxiko Eremua (IGE) in Basque and (ZBE) in Spanish.
The LEZ is composed exclusively of the city centre: the area highlighted in green on the map.
During the years 2025 – 2027 the following foreign vehicles will be able to enter:
– Passenger cars and vans (petrol and diesel) registered from 01-01-2006
– Motorcycles and mopeds registered from 01-01-2004
– Buses, coaches and trucks:
• Petrol: registered from 01-10-2001
• Diesel: registered from 01-10-2006

Motorcycles, along with hybrid and electric vehicles, must also undergo this procedure.
If you enter the Low-Emission Zone without beeing registered, you will be fined.

YOU CANNOT ENTER THE CITY CENTER,
if the vehicle does not meet the environmental. If you do you will get a fine, however you can park your vehicle very close to the center. These are the options:
