On the 200th anniversary of Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga’s death, the Quincena Musical pays tribute to the Bilbao-born composer with a program that traces his brief yet extraordinary career. His precocious talent and astonishing musical maturity confirm Arriaga as one of the most unique figures of early European Romanticism.
