Danish Dance Theatre
Bloody Moon is a celebration of life, full of color, a wild, entertaining, and energetic dance performance, full of humor and sensuality. Inspired by the famous work of French thinker Georges Bataille on desire, eroticism, liberation, and madness, it marks Marina Mascarell’s world premiere as the new artistic director of the Danish Dance Theatre. On stage, the dancers embody the principles of pleasure, excess, chaos, transgression, play, celebration, and the ecstasy of Dionysus, the god of fertility, with an added touch of madness. Visually stunning.
