Drawing Modernity (1864–1968)

The exhibition brings together a selection of drawings from the Mapfre Foundation’s collection. Artists such as Mariano Fortuny, Joaquín Sorolla, Maruja Mallo, and Pablo Picasso, who worked on the international stage and were familiar with the works of masters like Edgar Degas, Auguste Rodin, and Egon Schiele—all of whom are also featured in the exhibition. Joining them are works from the San Telmo collection itself: Ignacio Zuloaga, Mari Puri Herrero, Aurelio Arteta, María Paz Jiménez…
