Iparratik is an invitation to embark on a new journey. Step by step, dance and music bridge the past and the present, revealing the strength of our roots and the courage to look toward the future. This journey, woven from tradition, emotion, and movement, invites the audience to immerse themselves in it.
Gero Axular was founded in 2004 with the aim of promoting and elevating the status of Euskal Dantza as a cultural leisure activity. Beyond preserving and nurturing our culture, Gero Axular aims to delve deeper into this cultural expression and encourage young people to actively participate in the project. To date, they have produced nine shows: Sasi Artean, Lamien Basoa, Talaia, Xereta, Argizaiola, Itzal Galdua, Agorrila, Higa, and Agoteak. Through 2026, they have presented more than 380 performances and participated in 64 festivals, achieving great success in countries such as France, Belgium, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Wales, Scotland, Serbia, Croatia, Denmark, Slovenia, and Greece.
