In this screening, we will take a journey to Greenland, a vast, isolated, wild, and largely unknown territory. Greenland is largely a vast frozen desert, but several characteristics also make it a crucial geopolitical enclave. It is also home to the Inuit people, who have had to adapt to extreme conditions and an ultra-modern society, and it serves as a key setting for climate change. Through a two-part narrative, this screening explores the historical, geographical, and social reality of the great Arctic island and then delves into the personal experience of nine years of travel and photography across its most breathtaking landscapes.
