The students in the Intermediate Theater course at Donostia Kultura, led by Vega Iguarán, will showcase what they’ve learned during the course with the play *The Desert Island*. The group describes the show as follows: “In a shipping office, a group of workers endure a suffocating routine, a monotonous workday. It’s always the same, day after day; nothing changes. They’re like robotic employees. But within each of them lies a hidden desire for change. Every day they live alongside port life, watching the ships, listening to their horns, and dreaming of living adventures and having the freedom that, one day without meaning to, they let slip away. An adventurous messenger awakens their longing for change, and their utopian dream of escaping conformity becomes a reality.”
