‘Landscapes vanished into thin air’

This proposal showcases a selection of drawings by Gerardo D’Abraira, a little-known creator of visual communication during the industrialization of the Basque Country in the 1940s and 1950s.

The exhibition was first presented at La Encartada Fabrika-Museoa in Balmaseda. The San Telmo proposal will take its starting point from this, but will focus on the panoramic views he drew for industrial facilities in Gipuzkoa, without excluding some other drawings made in Bizkaia and La Rioja.
