“Sirens” is a project presented by Lisa Hannigan alongside the Theodora Byrne Trio, featuring Amanda Bergman, Angie McMahon, Anaïs Mitchell, Kate Stables, Mina Tindle, and Pomme.
Created as part of “Sounds from a Safe Harbour” (SFSH25), “Sirens” brings together some of the most prominent female voices in contemporary music. Presented by Lisa Hannigan, a longtime friend and collaborator of Aaron and Bryce Dessner, and featuring the Theodora Byrne Trio throughout the concert, the show brings together an exceptional group of artists whose work spans folk, indie, alternative music, and chanson. This edition has been specially designed for AB100, a weekend filled with music, collaborations, and artistic exchange to celebrate Aaron and Bryce Dessner’s 50th birthday, and promises to be one of the most intimate and exciting experiences of the weekend.
AB100 is a celebration of a creative community that has grown over decades of shared work, and it will bring together musicians, writers, and artists for a weekend filled with unique performances in one of Europe’s most inspiring cultural settings. This cross-border project, scheduled for this coming October, features the participation of Kursaal Eszena, Donostia Kultura, and Atabal.
