If you want more information , you can access the organizer detail sheet.
43º13’44″N by Olatz Gorrotxategi is a one-woman play, a performative lecture, that recounts the life of Domingo Gangoiti, the protagonist’s great-uncle, through various documents. The show is the result of the author’s journey into family and collective memory. It is a story discovered along the way to another place, where the mechanisms of the imagination manage to fill in the gaps that memory cannot. These are the photos we didn’t have time to take, the boats we didn’t have time to catch, or the bullets we never had time to fire. A logbook in the form of performance and documentary theater.
The piece is performed in Basque, but includes testimonies in Spanish.
