Pablo Torti 4tet

A band made up of four young musicians with a combined history of more than five years, although this project as such was founded in Madrid in 2022.
The quartet is led by saxophonist and composer Pablo Torti, accompanied by Maite Arregi on piano, Jesús Bastías on double bass, and Esteban Lavigne on drums.

The project focuses on performing and developing original compositions. The group has just released its first EP, titled “Las tres heridas.” It features fresh, contemporary jazz packaged in a compact release with three songs inspired by Miguel Hernández’s poem of the same name: “La de la vida,” “La del amor,” and “La de la muerte.”
