The Sunday program of AB100—a weekend filled with music, collaborations, and artistic exchange to celebrate Aaron and Bryce Dessner’s 50th birthday, taking place on October 17 and 18—will begin with an intimate afternoon dedicated to contemporary music composition. Conceived as a shared experience rather than four separate performances, the concert will encourage collaboration and musical dialogue, fostering unexpected moments among artists united by mutual admiration and friendship.
AB100 is a celebration of a creative community that has grown over decades of shared work, and it will bring together musicians, writers, and artists for a weekend filled with unique performances in one of Europe’s most inspiring cultural settings. This cross-border project, scheduled for this coming October, features the participation of Kursaal Eszena, Donostia Kultura, and Atabal.
