*Enperadorearen kondaira* is a Chinese shadow puppet show by the Patata Tropikala troupe that combines storytelling with shadow puppetry, magic, juggling, and theater.
Legend has it that in ancient China, toward the end of the 2nd century B.C., Emperor Wu-Ti fell into a state of deep sorrow upon the death of his beloved Wang. He wept and wept, and every day a great tear fell to the ground; days and nights passed, and nothing and no one could cheer him up.
Legend has it that shadow theater was born in Ancient China to restore the emperor’s happiness.
