The beach takes centre stage this month or as far as Donostia is concerned, its three beaches, that provide not only fabulous swimming but also host concerts as part of Jazzaldia, the International Jazz Festival.

As tends to happen in Donostia/San Sebastian, we readily jump from culture to sport, as July hosts several sporting events such as sailing regattas, horse races or the international Donosti Cup.

What's more, there are more sales in the summer and many shops bring their wares out on to the street, making the city even more colourful.
