The Island beach
The fourth largest beach in Donostia/San Sebastián is also one of the most unique: the small and charming beach on Santa Clara Island is less than 30 meters long and accessible only by sea or swimming
Despite its small size, this beach has everything you need to enjoy the summer: a bar with a terrace, a lifeguard station, a natural pool of seawater, and a pier. During the summer season, a motorboat service connects the port to the island every half hour. It’s also possible to swim from Ondarreta, a 500-meter crossing that many families enjoy. Halfway there, several floating platforms with slides and diving boards offer a fun break.
