In this play by Oihulari Klown, Virginia Imaz plays Pauxa, an apprentice witch who invites the audience to an impromptu coven. “It’s nothing like what we’ve been told. Witches are people, and there are all kinds: good and bad, generous and mean, sociable and antisocial; but witches are always old and wise,” she explains.
A clown theater parody for young audiences and adults. A playful production that, through its whimsical reflections, shares concerns about past and present femicide in a reimagining of the witch stereotype, where the frivolization and trivialization of the character mask the ongoing violence against women.
