The Jazz Festival takes more than a half a century bringing the best jazz to our city. It has become both for national and for international people an event you can not miss.
The 61st Donostia Jazzaldia will fill the city with music and a festive atmosphere, turning it into the world epicentre of jazz from 22 to 26 July. The programme will bring together major international figures, long-established artists, new proposals, representatives of the best European jazz and a strong presence of Basque musicians across 12 venues, including Plaza de la Trinidad, the Kursaal Auditorium, the Kursaal terraces, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, Zurriola beach, the cloister of the San Telmo Museum and Chillida Leku, among others. In total, there will be 77 concerts, 47 of them free of charge. Among the most eagerly awaited names in this edition are two world-renowned artists: Pat Metheny and Diana Krall, who will appear alongside the great Marc Ribot.
