The Fantastic and Horror Film Week is back! A festival you just can’t miss. The atmosphere before and during the screenings is unmatched — something you have to experience at least once in your life.
This year, the official poster of the 36th Fantastic and Horror Film Week features El Gran Wyoming, as a tribute to fantasy cinema and to David Lynch, who passed away this year. The artwork pays homage to the dark and surreal aesthetic of the American filmmaker.

The festival will kick off on October 31 for the first time at the Kursaal, with the screening of “Gaua” by director Paul Urkijo. Throughout the week, audiences will enjoy titles such as “Dracula“, “The Creeps“, “Deathstalker” and “La Virgen de la tosquera“, among others.
Among the parallel activities, the exhibition CINEGĒMU – Fantasy and Horror in Japanese Video Games stands out, open to visitors at Okendo Kultur Etxea from September 19 to November 7. A great opportunity to explore how the Japanese gaming world has uniquely approached the horror genre.
