A Green and Sustainable City
San Sebastián boasts a vast number of urban green areas, easily accessible and of great beauty. Our parks and gardens are the city’s green lungs and the clearest reflection of our strong commitment to sustainability. A total of 20 spectacular parks are spread throughout the city.
Cristina Enea
The largest and most wooded urban park in the city. It was renovated in 2007 and houses inside the former palace of the Duke of Mandas.
Miramar Gardens
In front of Miramar Palace lie impressive gardens, decorated with flower beds and small trees, with La Concha Bay as a backdrop.
Aiete Park
The best-known part of this park is near the palace, but it is worth exploring all its corners and freely enjoying its fauna and flora.
Miramon Park
One of the city’s largest parks, located at the foot of the Arbide Towers. It features an elevated walkway that allows you to explore all its spaces.
Ametzagaina Park
It has four entrances and a wide cycle lane that allows you to visit it on wheels. It also includes recreational areas and children’s play spaces.
Alderdi Eder
From here you can take one of the most iconic pictures of the city, with the City Hall façade and La Concha Bay in the background.
Gipuzkoa Square
The gardens and paths located in the center of this square are a meeting and resting place for many residents of San Sebastián.
Memorial Park
Inspired by traditional oriental gardens, this space has become a true symbol of coexistence, respect, and peace.
Puio Park
In addition to enjoying wonderful views of the city and the sea, this park has a children’s playground.
Artikutza
This magical forest, located in Navarre, belongs to San Sebastián. Discover its fascinating history and enjoy nature in its purest form.
