Jazzaldia
From 22 to 26 July, Zurriola beach will host eight free-admission concerts as part of Jazzaldia. The line-up includes four international stars with female leadership — LP, Danielle Nicole, Ibibio Sound Machine and Emma-Jean Thackray — and four well-established local groups: ETS, Kokoshca, Nøgen and HOFE. This jazz festival, now in its 61st edition, has become a true classic for both residents and visitors. It offers a varied international programme with numerous free concerts right by the beach, and this year’s main line-up features stars such as Pat Metheny, Diana Krall and Samara Joy, among others.

Glad is the Day
On Sunday, 2 August, from 12:00 to 21:00, we will move from the beach to the shade of the trees to enjoy the free Glad is the Day festival in the centrally located Cristina Enea Park. In addition to musical performances spread across several stages, the festival will feature DJ sessions, a craft and clothing market, picnic areas and a programme for children.

Aste Nagusia
From 8 to 15 August, Donostia’s famous Aste Nagusia will take place, with countless activities for all ages and audiences: from a pirate boarding that departs from the harbour and lands on La Concha Beach, to the traditional fireworks competition and free concerts throughout the city, featuring bands and artists such as Veintiuno, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, Süne, Lia Kali and Etzakit.

Euskal Jaiak
In the first days of September, from 2 to 13 September, coinciding with the iconic Bandera de La Concha (rowing races), Donostia celebrates its Euskal Jaiak, or Basque Festivities, with a programme of activities centred on folklore, Basque rural sports and a day dedicated to local cider producers (Sagardo Eguna).

Boga Boga Festibala
From 10 to 13 September 2026, Donostia will host the fourth edition of this independent music festival with local DNA, held in emblematic and unique locations in and around the city. This year, the festival stages will be located at Miramar Palace, Easo Square and Dabadaba.
